Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is a Greek-American musician and the founding member of the heavy metal band Motley Crue. Lee is the drummer for a long time for Motley Crue, and is also the creator of Methods of Mayhem, a rapper-oriented metal group. He has also pursued solo musical endeavors. Lee has a strong support for PETA and animal rights. Lee wrote Terry Prather, SeaWorld's president, in protest at Tilikum's treatment of Tilikum. Lee believed that the animal should be released, and he stated that SeaWorld would not comply since Tilikum is their primary donor of the sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure over SeaWorld's inept and bizarre method to obtain Tilikum fertilm. Lee expressed his desire to stop more tragedies from happening like trainers' deaths as this was due to the whales' inability be kept captive.
