Carey, who is almost 5'10" tall and was once an iconic American fashion model. Famous designers like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren loved her. Her father was a prominent scientist and was named Scientist from 1979 by Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Carey traveled all over because of her father's work. As she was attending the University of Colorado, Carey started modeling for a side. A representative of Ford's model agency located in New York noticed her and asked for help. Following her move to France in the summer of 1999, where she resided at Paris, Bordeaux and New York, she decided to go back in New York and continue her training. In the next few months, Vogue, Glamour and other magazines featured her on their covers. While modeling, she also studied at New York University full-time to earn a master's degree in literature. She became more interested in acting and began training at the Neighborhood Playhouse of New York. In 1986 she made her first appearance in acting with a minor part in "Club Paradise" with Robin Williams. She enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and windsurfing.
